Dance

A dancer seeking to choreograph more, Rohan’s dance stems from their activism, as a way to advocate for human rights using the human body.

In 2019, they made their Off-Broadway debut in musical revival of Over Here! , which received a warm review on Broadway World. Other notable productions include Francois & The Rebels, a musical about the Haitian Revolution, written by Jaime Cepero and choregraphed by Angela Nicole Patmon, and Zhou-Lee’s solo choreography Homage, which raises awareness about Asian Americans killed by police. Homage premiered at the 2016 A-Squared Asian American Performing Arts Festival and later reimagined at the 2022 Unite Festival in Zurich, Switzerland. They also danced as an extra in pilot of Lovecraft Country.

At the 2025 Aktionstage Enough Festival in Zurich, they premiered Sandra | Song, a ballet poem honoring the lives of Sandra Bland and Song Yang.

Rohan trained at Northwestern University under Laura Wade, and later at the Ruth Page Center for The Arts with Birute Barodcaite, Vanessa Lake, Dolores Lipinski Long, Randall Newsom, and Tracey Von Der Haar. They completed the 2015 Dance Theatre of Harlem Summer Intensive.
